Good morning all.   Have you all been blown away with the storm?   Where I am in the Midlands we got off lightly with just a little bit rain but some places weren't so lucky.

Crafty Calendar Halloween Challenge Card

Good evening everyone, It's the first Saturday in October so it's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Calender.

October is the time for witches & spells so we're getting spooky with our "Halloween" theme for this month.

Considering I don't really celebrate Halloween, when I was looking through my stash for an image to use on my project this month I couldn't believe the amount of Halloween style rubber & digital stamps that I have.

I decided on a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp, I love their spooky style images, the one I used isn't one of their Halloween stamps, she's from the range based on the Wizard of Oz but I though she was perfect for my card.

Creative Craft Challenge Card - Not A Square

Good morning all.  Hope everyone is having a good day so far...today we have a new challenge today over at Creative Craft and for this fortnight the theme is

"Not A Square!"

You may have noticed but I rarely deviate from the 6" square card so this was quite a challenge for me...

I decided to get my hardly used Cricut cutter out for inspiration and I found an octagon shape on one of the cartridges that I quite liked the look of.   I managed to manipulate the shape in the Cricut Design Studio so that the top edges overlapped and it resembled some sort of card shape.

I have another Christmas theme card for this challenge, just because I love this little bear image from our sponsor for this challenge Pink Gem Designs.

For my card I have used:

The image is "Barclay with Bauble" from Pink Gem Designs coloured with copics.
