Napkin Art Christmas Plaque

Good morning all, I hope Wednesday is treating you well.   A bit of a change today for post number 11.  It's a Christmas project but it isn't a card.   I've had a go at napkin art for this one.

This project started out as a humble paper napkin and a piece of MDF.
I painted the MDF plaque with white acrylic paint
I then separated the layers of the paper napkin and then attached the lop layer to my MDF using Viva Decor Servietten-Technik Kleber+Lack (which roughly translates to napkins technique glue & varnish).
I pained a wooden reindeer with white paint and then a layer grey chalk paint and then sanded it to give it a distressed look.
The two layer chipboard sentiment is from Make it Crafty.  The bottom layer is painted with white acrylic paint and the top layer is covered with black embossing powder.
Then just a sprinkling of Crushed Ice Crystals across the bottom.

I hope you like my winter plaque.   Thanks for taking the time to visit, see you tomorrow for day twelve x

Lili of the Valley Snowy Robins Christmas Card

Good morning.  I have another festive card to share.  Day 10 is here only another 14 posts to Christmas.

For today's card I have used 'Snowy Robins' digi stamp from LOTV coloured with copics.
The DP's are from the Docrafts Papermania Christmas in the Country paper pack.
I printed the image quite large so not really room on a 6 x 6 card for much else so just added an embossed sentiment (from the My Favorite Things 'Seasons Tweetings' stamp set) a few snowflakes with a Fiery Volcano Nuvo Stone Drop in the centre and some Icicle Stickles onto the image.

That's it for today, thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.  I'll see you tomorrow x

Gnome Trio Christmas Card

Good morning.   I hope you are having a good day where ever you are.  It's a bit on the windy side here today but at least it's not raining for a change.

I feel I achieved a lot yesterday.  I think all of my Christmas cards are done, I just need to do a final check, I have all my Christmas presents they just need wrapping, I've never been so organised.

Today's post is another Christmas card.

For this card I have used the Gnome Bundle svg file from Lori Whitlock cut using the scan'n'cut.
The hats are cut from the First Edition Christmas Wishes paper pack.
The background DP is from the DoCrafts Forever Friends Kraft Notes paper pack.
The Merry sentiment is a two layer chipboard from Make It Crafty.  I coloured the bottom layer with a N5 copic pen and the top layer is covered with white embossing powder.
The Christmas sentiment is from the Neat & Tangled Very Merry Stamp set

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog and I'll be back tomorrow for day 10 x

Crafty Calendar August Challenge - Anything Goes with A Day for Daisies

Good afternoon, I hope you are having a good day.  I've just got home from work so time to get my blog post done before I go and pack a suitcase ready for my trip to the Isles of Scilly in a few days, so here's hoping the good weather lasts.....

It's the first Saturday of the month so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar and the theme for August is:
'ANYTHING GOES'

For my card I have used:
Mouse Daisy from A Day For Daisies.  I coloured her first with copic markers.  I laid down a base colour using a copic maker and then I added shading with polychromos pencils.

I couldn't find coloured card that quite matched so I just tinted some with the same copic marker for the sentiment tag and card edges,

Flamingo Frame using Napkin Art and Sweet Poppy Stencils

Good morning all, I hope Wednesday is treating you well.  Just lately I have been venturing into other crafts so today I have a home decor project to share.

This project started out as a humble paper napkin that I picked up in the sale from my local supermarket. (no flamingo there yet....)

I separated the layers of the napkin and then attached the lop layer to a 10" x 8" artists canvas board using Viva Decor Servietten-Technik Kleber+Lack (which roughly translates to napkins technique glue & varnish).

Once that was fully dry I used the Flamingo Stencil from Sweet Poppy Stencils and Cosmic Shimmer Texture Paste in Copper Kettle to add my flamingo on to the project.

Then once it was all dry I added into a frame and it was ready to hang on my bedroom wall.

Altenew Sewn With Love Stamp - One Stamp Four Cards.

Good afternoon.  Hope you are having a good day.  If you were out in the Midlands today you wouldn't think it was June, it's more like November, cold, wet and windy, I may even have to think about switching my heating back on.

All this wet weather has given me an excuse to spend a bit of time in the craft room so I have four cards to share all using the Sewn With Love stamp set from Altenew.

The first card is stamped with various purple hues of ink and I then used
Sweet Poppy Translucent Stencil Dimension Paste and Grid Plate Stencil to give a raised grid effect over the top of the image.  I then mounted it on black card and added a white embossed sentiment and a few purple sequins.

The next card is stamped in various red inks, die cut with a stitched rectangle die and mounted on black card.  I then added a stamped sentiment and a few Nuvo Stone Drops in Fiery Volcano.

The third card is stamped in yellow and I then diecut it using the My Favorite Things Cross-Stitch Rectangle Die-namic and added a sentiment and a few Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion Yellow.

The final card is stamped in shades of blue, the sentiment is stamped over the top using Rare Earth Pitch Black ink and is from the My Favorite Things Written In Watercolor stamp set and I added stitched black frame that I cut using an svg file and the Scan-n-Cut on top of the image and added a few Nuvo Stone Drops in Belgium Bluestone.
