Crafty Calendar January Challenge - Polkadoodles Pickles Balloon Birthday Card

Good afternoon and a happy new year to you.  A bit later posting today as I have spent this morning taking down all of the Christmas decorations.  This weekend was the first opportunity we had and as long as they were down before twelfth night I was okay with that.

It's the first Saturday in the month so we have a new challenge for you over at Crafty Calendar and a nice easy theme for you to start the year:

'ANYTHING GOES'

For my card I have used:

Pickles Balloon from Polkadoodles.  This is a pre-coloured image.
The background is inked with distress oxides.
The white eyelet border had been cut using one of the dies from the Pretty Pink Posh Eyelet Rectangle die set.
The DP is from my stash.

Crafty Calendar November Challenge - Polkadoodles Little Gift Theo Christmas Card

Good afternoon.  I hope you are keeping safe and well.  A little bit later posting today due to spending this morning at the Creative Craft show at the NEC Birmingham.   Nice to see a couple of new suppliers there so I made a beeline to the new Spellbinders stall, met Yana Smakula who was doing some demos for them and picked up a few goodies.

It's the first Saturday in the month and we have a new challenge for you over at Crafty Calendar.  The theme this month is ANYTHING GOES.  It's November so I feel it's okay to start sharing Christmas cards.

For my card I have used:
Little Gift Theo from Polkadoodles coloured with copics.
The background is Distress Mica Sprays
and stars stencilled using Distress texture paste and rock candy glitter.

Crafty Calendar May Challenge - Anything But Square

Good morning, I hope you are safe and well today.  Here in the UK it's coronation weekend, I'm going to be one of the millions watching it today so I have just enough time to post this before the ceremony begins.

Its the first Saturday of the month so we have a new challenge for you over at Crafty Calendar.

The theme this month is ANYTHING BUT SQUARE.

For my card I have used:

The image is Winne Daisy Flower Fairy Holding a Toadstool digital stamp from Polkadoodles coloured with copics.
The card base has been cut using an SVG file called Basic Square Centre Step card which is from Lori Whitlock.
The DP is from a digital paper set called Spring Plaids from PeriwinklePixelShop over on Etsy.

Unfortunately we don't have a sponsor for this months challenge.  The sponsor we had arranged for this month have closed their doors and are no longer trading but we do have some goodies available for one lucky winner, four Polkadoodles stamps and a paper pack as shown below

Please pop over to Crafty Calendar and share your ANTHING BUT SQUARE projects in this months challenge and also check out the gorgeous cards by the other DT members.

Crafty Calendar Anything Goes August Challenge - Polkadoodles Mermazing Kisses Card

Good morning.  Hope you are safe and well this morning.  I'm here wishing the weather was a little better today, it's changed from a gorgeous day yesterday (when I had to work all day so stuck inside and not able to enjoy it) to being overcast today when I'm not working, never mind that's the UK weather for you.

Can you believe over the half the year has gone already.....August is here and it's the first Saturday in the month so we have a new challenge for you over at Crafty Calendar.  The theme this month is
ANYTHING GOES
so all projects are welcome this month

For my card I have gone a little bit mermaid.

The image is Winnie Mermaid Mermazing Kisses from Polkadoodles coloured with Chameleon Pens.

Can I just say I love this background.   I created it doing a bit of swooshing with distress oxides and water and  then stamped some circles from the Lawn Fawn Lets's Bokeh stamp set with snowflake Stazon pigment ink and I think it my most favourite background ever...
