One Stencil, Two Cards featuring Imagination Crafts and Distress Oxides

Good morning all.  I have a couple of cards to share today using one Imagination Crafts stencil and three distress oxide ink pads.

For this card I have inked through the stencil using distress oxides in Wilted Violet, Twisted Citroen and Picked Raspberry.

The sentiment is the Lawn Fawn Scripty Happy die cut out three times from black card and layered together.
The birthday sentiment is from the Concord and 9th Say Hello stamp set embossed in black.

For the second card the stencil had ink left on it from stenciling the previous card so I have just spritzed the stencil with water and  pressed a piece of paper on it for a reverse impression.  Just added a greeting and a few Nuvo Dream Drops for the finished card.

 Loving the muted watercolour effect.

Thanks for taking the time stop ny blog, and I'll see you soon.

Monster Sized Birthday Card

Good morning. Hope you are having a good day, the weather is looking okay at the moment so I think it's going to be a good day apart from the fact I am at work so missing it all..

I have a card to share today which is perfect for a little boy I know and this will be winging its way to Martyns nephew who is turning four.

I have used;
Monsters Sized stamp set from My Favorite Things coloured with copics.
I then cut them out with the Scan'n'cut.
The frame I made using lots of rectangles which I grouped together in CanvasWorkspace and then cut with the Scan'n'cut.

Just a short post today.  Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog and I'll see you soon.

Foiled Flamingo Frame using the We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill

Morning all.  Hope you are having a great day.

Just a quick post to share my first project using the We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill.  A foiled flamingo frame (try saying that really quickly!!)

For this project I used the Brother Scan n Cut, I haven't tried it with the Cricut yet.

I have used an file called 'Be A Flamingo' from the Lori Whitlock SVG shop   I imported the file into Brother CanvasWorkspace and changed it from cut to draw.  I added a fill onto just the flamingo and then transferred the file to my machine.

I used rose gold foil onto black card and the Foil Quill coped amazingly with the flamingo fill section, I was a bit worried it might not have done.

The frame is a very sparkly rose gold frame I picked up from The Range, a bargain I thought at only £3.99.

The foil quill is easy to use.  Just drop into the blade holder, plug into a power pack, let it heat up for five minutes and away you go.

Now to see what else I can find to foil,  just waiting for my foils of many colours to arrive then expect to see foiling on everything....

Thanks for taking the time to stop my my blog and I'll see you soon.

Altenew Bloom and Bud Bright and Colourful Birthday Card

Hi all on this Ash Wednesday,  Have you given something up for lent?  I have gone for chocolate, sweets and junk food, so hopefully I have enough willpower to get through to Easter.

Today's post is a bright and colourful birthday card using an Altenew layering stamp and a large amount of orange ink.  I did start to regret my colour choice while stamping the image but in the end I do like the cheerfulness of it

For this card I have used
Altenew Bloom and Bud stamp set
stamped in Catherine Pooler inks Tiara, Bellini, Tiki Torch and Tutti Frutti
The happy sentiment is Lawn Fawn Scripty Happy die cut from black card and embossed in clear embossing powder.
The birthday stamp is from the Concord and 9th Say Hello stamp set embossed in white.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and I'll see you soon. x

Crafty Calendar 'For A Child' March Challenge - A Day For Daisies Robot Card

Good afternoon.  Hope you are having a great day.  I'm just having a chillax after going out for a walk this morning and before heading out for a meal tonight so time to share my card for this months challenge over at Crafty Calendar.

Can you believe it's March already!!!   Our theme for this month is
'FOR A CHILD'
so I've made a card more suitable for a little boy.

For my card I have used:
Bot Two from A Day For Daisies coloured with Chameleon Pens (still practicing with these).
The circuit board backing paper was a download I found on etsy which I loved and felt was perfect for this robot card.
I cut the robot image with my scan n cut, added a frame, sentiment and star embellishments
