Crafty Calendar May Challenge - Black and White with Oddball Art

Good afternoon.   How's your lockdown going...I've been working from home for four weeks now, my computer equipment is set up in the spare room where I normally do my crafting so I haven't been crafting as much because some of my crafty stuff has had to move to make room, and when I finish work I like to get out of the room to leave work behind.

But I did get chance to make this card which is for this months challenge
over at Crafty Calendar and the theme is
BLACK AND WHITE

I have used Zeddy the Zebra Zeddys Party from Oddball Art coloured with copics and polychromos pencils

Crafty Calendar April Challenge 'Add a Butterfly' Card

Good afternoon, I hope you are keeping safe and well and at home during this time.  The world is a very strange place at the moment.  I'm still going out to work so I don't have too much lockdown time to have fill but I have managed to up-cycle a Ikea toolbox into a sewing box which has been a pending project for a while.

It's the first Saturday in the month and we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar and the theme this month is
'ADD A BUTTERFLY'

For my card I have quite a few butterflies.

I have used:
Butterfly Curl digi image from this months sponsor SheepSki Designs coloured with copics and polychromos pencils.

To try to get the butterfly colours as natural as possible I got my Collins 'How to Identify Butterflies'  book from the shelf and loosely based them on actual butterflies...Brimstone, Common Blue, Clouded Yellow, Small Copper and Large Blue, when I say loosely based I mean very loosely.

The image is Spring Rabbit with Egg 2 from Lili of the Valley coloured with copics and polychromos pencils.

The DPs are digital papers from the Echo Park Easter paper pack available at Snap Click that I printed out.

The grass is a svg file from Etsy cut using my cricut,

Napkin Art Christmas Plaque

Good morning all, I hope Wednesday is treating you well.   A bit of a change today for post number 11.  It's a Christmas project but it isn't a card.   I've had a go at napkin art for this one.

This project started out as a humble paper napkin and a piece of MDF.
I painted the MDF plaque with white acrylic paint
I then separated the layers of the paper napkin and then attached the lop layer to my MDF using Viva Decor Servietten-Technik Kleber+Lack (which roughly translates to napkins technique glue & varnish).
I pained a wooden reindeer with white paint and then a layer grey chalk paint and then sanded it to give it a distressed look.
The two layer chipboard sentiment is from Make it Crafty.  The bottom layer is painted with white acrylic paint and the top layer is covered with black embossing powder.
Then just a sprinkling of Crushed Ice Crystals across the bottom.

I hope you like my winter plaque.   Thanks for taking the time to visit, see you tomorrow for day twelve x

Lili of the Valley Snowy Robins Christmas Card

Good morning.  I have another festive card to share.  Day 10 is here only another 14 posts to Christmas.

For today's card I have used 'Snowy Robins' digi stamp from LOTV coloured with copics.
The DP's are from the Docrafts Papermania Christmas in the Country paper pack.
I printed the image quite large so not really room on a 6 x 6 card for much else so just added an embossed sentiment (from the My Favorite Things 'Seasons Tweetings' stamp set) a few snowflakes with a Fiery Volcano Nuvo Stone Drop in the centre and some Icicle Stickles onto the image.

That's it for today, thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.  I'll see you tomorrow x

Gnome Trio Christmas Card

Good morning.   I hope you are having a good day where ever you are.  It's a bit on the windy side here today but at least it's not raining for a change.

I feel I achieved a lot yesterday.  I think all of my Christmas cards are done, I just need to do a final check, I have all my Christmas presents they just need wrapping, I've never been so organised.

Today's post is another Christmas card.

For this card I have used the Gnome Bundle svg file from Lori Whitlock cut using the scan'n'cut.
The hats are cut from the First Edition Christmas Wishes paper pack.
The background DP is from the DoCrafts Forever Friends Kraft Notes paper pack.
The Merry sentiment is a two layer chipboard from Make It Crafty.  I coloured the bottom layer with a N5 copic pen and the top layer is covered with white embossing powder.
The Christmas sentiment is from the Neat & Tangled Very Merry Stamp set

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog and I'll be back tomorrow for day 10 x

Hero Arts Color Layering Cardinal Christmas Card

Good morning.  I'm managing to keep on track with this project a day posting.

Today's card doesn't have a lot going on, went for clean and simple.

I have used the 'Color Layering Cardinal' stamp set from Hero Arts stamped in various shades of red & grey.
The sentiment is from the MFT 'Joyous Christmas Sentiments' stamp set
A few sequins and gems to finish it off

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog, I'll be back tomorrow with post number nine x

Crafty Calendar Anything but a Christmas Card Challenge with Oddball Art

Good morning.  Day seven of my Christmas countdown but today's project is not a Christmas card.

It's the first Saturday in December so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar and the theme this month is:

'ANYTHING BUT A CHRISTMAS CARD'

So for my project I have made a birthday card which is winging it's way to my niece for her seventh birthday.

For my card I have used
Twinkles Image #358  from Oddball Art.   I masked off the white areas and then blended Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks.  I removed the masks and applied clear Wink of Stella to the white areas and then fussy cut the image
The DP's are from the Dovecraft 'Over the Rainbow' paper pack.
I layered some die-cut stars in co-ordernating colours. and die-cut a white stitched circle frame (MFT) and the word Birthday (MFT),
I stamped and heat embossed happy and the magical day sentiment which is from 'Unicorns Rock' stamp set by Your Next Stamp,
