Crafty Calendar June Challenge - Lili of the Valley Summer Card

Good morning, I hope you are safe and well.  It's a gorgeous day today so I think summer is definitely on the way which fits in well with this months challenge over at Crafty Calendar.

It's the first Saturday of the month so we have a new challenge for you and the theme this month is Summertime.

For me when someone mentions Summer I think of trips to the seaside   I live in the Midlands so to travel to the coast is more than couple of hours drive but we try to get there when we can.

For my card I have used:
Fairy Calendar August digital stamp from Lili of the Valley coloured with copics.
The DP's are from the Hello Sunshine digital paper pack from Lili of the Valley.

Crafty Calendar December Challenge - A Little Gift from Lili of the Valley Christmas Card

Good morning all.   Hope you are all safe and well,   I'm now fully recovered from Covid-19, so have started to catch up on some Christmas crafting.  Unlike previous years I think I am nearly ready for Christmas, I now have the majority of cards done, the presents are nearly wrapped, so hopefully I will have time to fit in some other Christmas crafting projects.

It's the first Saturday in December so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar and the theme this month is
'CHRISTMAS'

For my card I have used:
I masked the image so that I could ink blend the background with Distress Oxides in Villainous Purple, Prize Ribbon and Broken China
I added stars using gold paste and the Spellbinders All the Stars stencil.
The image was then coloured with copics.
I stamped some snowflakes on the base card using the three distress oxide colours I used for the background....I just couldn't find a DP that I liked to go with the image.
I added glossy accents and rock candy glitter to the hats and snowy ground

It's the first Saturday in December so we have a new challenge
The theme this month is
CHRISTMAS

For my card I have used
Christmouse Decoration digi stamp from this months sponsor Lili of the Valley

Lili of the Valley Snowy Robins Christmas Card

Good morning.  I have another festive card to share.  Day 10 is here only another 14 posts to Christmas.

For today's card I have used 'Snowy Robins' digi stamp from LOTV coloured with copics.
The DP's are from the Docrafts Papermania Christmas in the Country paper pack.
I printed the image quite large so not really room on a 6 x 6 card for much else so just added an embossed sentiment (from the My Favorite Things 'Seasons Tweetings' stamp set) a few snowflakes with a Fiery Volcano Nuvo Stone Drop in the centre and some Icicle Stickles onto the image.

That's it for today, thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.  I'll see you tomorrow x

Crafty Calendar September Challenge - Unusual Folds with Lili of the Valley

Good afternoon all.  Have just got in from work so time to fit in a post before I head off out again to the theatre.

It's the first Saturday in September so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar and the theme for this month is
"Unusual Folds".

The weather today in the West Midlands is gorgeous so it seems wrong to be posting my card because I went for a Christmas themed image for this months challenge, but I love the bears from this months sponsor Lili of the Valley so just had to use one.

My card for this month is a new one for me, A gatefold easel card....

The image is James in the Snow from Lili of the Valley that I have coloured with copics and added a fluttering of Glamour Dust and the DPs are from the Daisy and Dandelion 'A Winters Tale' Christmas Collection paper pack.   The greeting on the belly band is also from Lili of the Valley.
No embellishments added otherwise I might not have been able to close the card...

We are sponsored for this challenge by:

Lili of the Valley Blooming Lovely Birthday Card

Good morning.  I hope you are well and the sun is shining wherever you are as opposed to the rain we are to having where I live.  I'm sharing today a card that I made a while ago but didn't get around to blogging. This card was for my Moms last birthday back in December.

I have used for this card Blooming Lovely from Lili of the Valley coloured with copics  The background of the image happened following an accident with a copic marker.  When I was colouring the flower the yellow marker leaked and made the big yellow splodge right next to the flower.  So to disguise this I made lots of other splodges all over the background.

When I was sorting out moms belongings I found this card along with every other card that I had made her over many years.  She had kept every single one .... even the ones from my early days when I was still finding my way and they needed improvement.....lots of it..

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day and I'll see you soon.

Creative Craft Challenge - Non Traditional Christmas Challenge

Hi all.  Is everyone well on the way to getting their Christmas organised?   I wish I was...., I've got to the stage where I can't sleep.  I'm up at 5.00am most mornings, and I think that I'll be able to get something done in the little bit of time before I leave for work at 7.30am and all that happens is that I end up making myself late for work.....

So to help everyone else get organised we have a Christmas challenge over at
Creative Craft and for this fortnight we want a Non Traditional Christmas project so time to avoid those red and green papers.

For my card I have used:
Lili of the Valley Penguin Presents coloured with copics.
DP's are from the DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas paper stack.

Pop over to Creative Craft Challenge and share your non traditional Christmas projects and check out the gorgeous DT creations.

My first post of 2013 and a Happy New Year to all.  Have you made any resolutions? (and have you broken them yet?)

It's the first Saturday of the month so that means we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge and the theme for this month is "What's New?" so could be a new baby project, new home, new job, you get the idea....

I decided on a new baby card because it seems like everyone I know is having a baby at the moment.
I became an Auntie on the 4th December when my gorgeous little niece Holly arrived, Martyns nephew and partner had their little girl Megan on the 3rd December and my cousins daughter is expecting a little girl any day now.

For my card I have used:
Lili of the Valley stamp "Special Delivery" coloured with copics
DP's are a combination of Wild Rose Studio and K & Co.
