Creative Craft Challenge - Vintage/Distressed

Is everybody back to normal after all these bank holidays?  I went back to work yesterday which was a bit of  a struggle after having over a fortnight off but I consoled myself with the thought that it's only 3 weeks to the next bank holiday.

It also means that it's time for another challenge over at Creative Craft Challenge. The theme this time is Vintage/Distressed.

Now I always struggle with vintage/distressed cards, because it's not my natural style I suppose, but I gave it my best shot and I produced two DT cards, one is supposed to be vintage and the other is my attempt at distressed.

For this card I used the LOTV image "Fairies on Tiptoe" coloured with copics.  The DP's are from the Papermania "Regency" paper pack.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
By The Cute And Girly - Anything Goes
Southern Girls Challenge - Lets hear it for the girls
Bunny Zoes - Lace
Whoopsidaisy Challenge - things with wings

For my next card I have used the Meljen image "Daisy Pitcher" coloured with Coloursoft and Koh-i-noor pencils.  The DP's are from the Papermania "Regency" paper pack.  I got a bit carried away with my distressing tools, but I'm quite pleased with my first attempt at my flower rosette thingy.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Stamp Something - Digi Day

We have lots of sponsors for this challenge:

Lili of the Valley who are offering a £10 gift voucher
Craft Individuals are offering a stamp and paper pack.

Meljen's Designs is giving away 4 digis

Doodle Pantry are giving a digi image to each of the top chosen 3 for this challenge.

Thanks for looking x
