Crafty Calendar August Challenge - Hetty Clare Happy Hour Card

Good morning and I hope you are well.  My post is a day late due to spending yesterday at the festival of quilts.  I sew but I'm not a 'quilter', my sister-in-law was going and had a spare free ticket so I went  with her.  Lots of amazing creations on display.

Can you believe it is August already, this means that we have a new monthly challenge for you over at Crafty Calendar and the theme this month is
'ANYTHING GOES'

For my card I have used:
Happy Hour digital stamp from Hetty Clare coloured with copics and then the cocktail glass has had a layer of Distress translucent texture paste applied to it.
The DP is from a set called Summer Cocktails from VRDigitalDesign over on Etsy.  I saw this rainbow paper in the set and knew I had to use it.
The background was stencilled using the Tim Holtz stencil THS003 Rays and the Simon Hurley Clear Skies dye ink pad.
The cheers sentiment was cut using my Cricut and I added a few clear dome gems.

Crafty Calendar July Challenge Card - HettyClare The Hamster Vase

Good afternoon, I hope you are keeping safe and well.  Can you believe that it is July already.  I'm hoping the weather is going to improve a bit, it's a bit changeable at the moment.  I would ideally like nice weather on the days that I have got booked off from work during July, August and September but I suppose if it's raining on those days I could always do some crafting.....

It's the first Saturday in July so we have a new challenge for you over at
Crafty Calendar and the theme this month is
ADD A RIBBON.

For my card I have used:
  • The Hamster Flower digi stamp from HettyClare coloured with copics.
  • I printed out a second image and I cut out the vase to create a stencil and then I applied Translucent Distress Texture Paste over the vase through the stencil... it gave it a lovely glossy finish you can just about see the shine on the vase where it has a layer of the paste
  • Happy is cut using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Happy Die (cut three from white card and one from a piece of card coloured with pink copics and then layered together)
  • A couple of pieces of ribbon banners in the corner.
