Creative Craft Challenge - Gorjuss Christmas Card

This fortnights challenge over at Creative Craft is "Anything Goes".  And surprise, surprise I've made a Christmas card and this is definitely my last one for this year.   It's been ages since I've used any of my Gorjuss Girls so I decided to bring one out of retirement and have used  the gorjuss "Foxy" coloured with copics.

The DP's are from the Forever Friends paper pack "Cosy Christmas"

Thanks for looking & Happy Christmas x

Sketch and Stash Challenge 51 - 2 Year Blogaversay Celebration

Time for another challenge over at Sketch and Stash.  Time is going by so fast I've just realised that it's only 5 more sleeps to Christmas!!!!.

We have a celebration for this challenge because it's our 2 year blogaversary - and we have LOADS of prizes on offer.

For this fortnights challenge all you need to do is make a card using one of our last 50 sketches ... for my card I've used Sketch 8 and my new stash that I've used is the gorgeous "Reindeer Tilda" coloured with copics.  I had a little trouble with the hair - I was making this card for my Grandma and I wanted Tilda to have reddish hair (just like her Granddaughter) but I always have trouble colouring red hair and I'm not sure it tuned out right!!!!.
The DP's are from the paper packs Dovecraft "Jolly Happy Christmas" and Papermania "Wonderful Christmas"

Creative Craft Recipe Challenge - 1 ribbon, 2 papers, 3 brads

Time for another challenge over at Creative Craft Challenges and this one is a recipe challenge.  We need to see 1 ribbon, 2 papers and 3 brads.

I've never done a recipe challlenge before so for my card I have used the LOTV stamp "James Bear - Pile of presents" coloured with copics and koh-i-noor pencils.  The DP's are from my stash.  You can't really tell from this picture because the papers look white but they are actually a bluey green colour and I think they come from one of the Papermania packs.

We're sponsored this week by The Crafty Pad and there is a gorgeous image up for grabs for one lucky winner.

Sketch & Stash Challenge - Magnolia Snowy Hug Tilda

There's a gorgeous sketch to follow for the challenge over at Sketch & Stash this fortnight.

I've used my new Magnolia stamp "Snowy Hug Tilda" coloured with copics and the DP is from the Dovecraft paper pack "Winter Wonderland".

We're sponsored this week by Simon says Stamp who is offering one lucky person the chance to win a $20 voucher to spend online

Also on a different note - apologies that I've been away from blogland for a bit and I might be for a couple of weeks more - My OH is a little bit poorly at the moment and is off into hospital this week so my card making may be a slightly sporadic because after working a full day,  I will then have to travel quite a distance to visit him in hospital - hopefully normal service will return soon

Creative Craft Challenge - "Tag It"

The challenge for this fortnight over at Creative Craft Challenges is "Tag It" so we need to see lots of tags on your creations

As my contribution for this challenge I have a sweet jar and matching card.

I have used Elzybells images for all my creations - the images on the sweet jar are from the clear stamp set "Mini Messages - Winter" and the image on the card is "Girl with Bird" and they're all coloured with copics.

The DP's are from the Papermania paper pack "Festive Frolics"

We're sponsered for this challenge by "Little Claire Designs" who is offering one lucky winner 2 stamps

Sketch and Stash Challenge 49 - Whiff of Joy

It's time for another challenge over at Sketch and Stash - I can't believe how quickly the weeks are passing - it's going to be Christmas before we know it.

For my card I've used the the gorgeous Whiff of Joy stamp "Henry Mouse with Hot Chocolate" and the papers are all unused/neglected stash.  The brads are covered in a sort of corduroy material and I've had them for absolutely ages....and have never used them.

The card is based on this fab sketch

Starlight Starbright - Creative Craft Challenge

Time for another challenge over at Creative Craft Challenges and this fortnight the theme is "Starlight Star bright", so we need to see lots of stars on your projects for this challenge.

For my card I have used the gorgeous Lili of the Valley image "Teddy with star" coloured with copics,  It doesn't show on this photo very well but my teddy has been eating his Ready Brek (or any other oat based breakfast cereal) and has a slight orange glow around him which I did using Koh-i-noor pencils and blending them out with sansador.  The DP's are from the Dovecraft paper pack "Christmas Fancy".

It doesn't happen very often but I got my sewing machine out for this card (if you don't look too closely you might even miss the wonky stitches!!)

We are sponsored this fortnight by Crafty Pad Designs

Happy Halloween and another card

Happy Halloween. Here's my last Halloween card for this year and now I really must get on with my Christmas cards.
For this card I've used the Magnolia stamp "Tilda dressed as a bat" coloured with copics. The papers are a mixture of Basic Grey and others from my stash.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
My family and friends are coming round tonight - I decided to take a risk and make some cakes (although I know all my family will ridicule me - I'm not as bad a cook as they think I am!!!!)
I don't think they look too bad !!! - the proof will be in the eating though!!!

Happy Halloween
