All Dressed Up Feed The Birds Birthday Card

Good morning.  I hope you are safe and well today after Storm Eunice yesterday.  I have a card to share today made using an discontinued digital stamp but couldn't resist using it.

The digital stamp is Feed the Birds from All Dressed Up layered on top of a birch tree background png file (not sure where the birch tree png was from) and then coloured with copics.

The sentiment is from the Spellbinders Tweet Sentiments stamp set

Sizzix Gladys the Flamingo Home Décor Project

Good morning.  Hope you are well.  I have a home décor project to share today.

Flamingos are one of my favourite birds so when I saw Gladys on the Tim Holtz Sizzix release I couldn't resist her.

I have previously created a flamingo home décor piece using the popular flamingo/pigeons quotation so I went for something different this time.

I created the quotation in Word and printed it using my laser printer.  I ink blended the paper using distress oxides Kitsch Flamingo and Salvaged Patina and sprayed this with water.  After this I sprayed it with Winterberry Distress Mica Stain.

Once I'd finished all the inking I used my Minc machine to foil the laser printed quote in gold.

I stamped a couple of layers of the Altenew Leaf Medallion stamp set and embossed with distress embossing glazes in Kitsch Flamingo and Salvaged Patina

The flamingo is cut using the Sizzix Gladys Colorise Die Set.

I'll see you soon

Valentine's Day Card using Sizzix Lovestruck Colorise Die Set

Good morning, Happy Valentine's Day.  I have a Valentine's card to share, I had to wait to post this until today just in case it got spotted.

After watching the Tim Holtz Live Sizzix release I received an early Valentine's gift from Martyn (the subliminal messages must have worked) and I have used them to create this card.

For this card I have used:
Backround : Distress Oxide blended background (Candied Apple, Worn Lipstick and Broken China)
and over this I placed a piece of white card with a number of heart apertures cut out of it so that the blended background showed through (Heart apertures cut using the Sizzix Stacked Hearts Tiles die set).

The red hearts and arrow were cut using the Sizzix Lovestruck Colorise Die Set by Tim Holtz and a little bit of Black Soot distress ink applied to the edges.

The sentiment has been created using my Dymo label machine and mounted onto black card.

Crafty Calendar February Challenge - Paper Nest Dolls Goth Ellie Card

Good morning.  I hope you are all safe and well.  January went by in a flash, I was busy working for most of it so I think this weekend will be a mix of catching up with jobs and maybe a day out somewhere tomorrow if the weather stays okay.

Today it is the first Saturday in February so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar and the theme this month is
ANYTHING GOES

My card is very pink.....

For my card I have used:

Goth Ellie from Paper Nest Dolls coloured with copics
The background was created using the Lawn Fawn Plaid Stencil and distress oxide inks in Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Black Soot
The sentiment is from the MFT Heart Strings stamp set.
I inked some card using Picked Rasperry distress oxide and die cut some stars so that they colour matched
