Creative Craft Challenge - We Love you Dad Card

Good morning all.  Hope everyone is having a good day, I'm still recovering from a Bon Jovi concert in Birmingham on Sunday and wondering if I'll be able to stay awake when I see them again in Cardiff on Wednesday.

But today is Tuesday so that means we have a new challenge over at Creative Craft and the theme for this fortnight is "We love You Dad" so Birthday or Fathers Day cards for this one.

For my card I have used

Kenny K Superhero digi stamp coloured with copics.

The greeting is also from Kenny K

It doesn't say Fathers Day or birthday so I can use this for either.

Mickey & Minnie Mouse Wedding Card

Good morning to all.   Hope you're enjoying the gorgeous weather that we're having at the moment, you know that here in the UK it won't last for long so we have to make the most of it....

Luckily the weather changed for the better because that meant that Martyn's niece Alison who got married on Sunday had a gorgeous sunny day, and I thought I'd share the wedding card that I made for the occasion.

The wedding had a subtle Disney theme, so it was only fitting that the card had Mickey and Minnie Mouse on it.

Mickey brad (on the ribbon) from "The Eyelet Outlet" (I bought these an absolute age ago because being a Mickey Mouse and Disney fan I thought I would be using these a lot but I think this is the first time I have actually used them)

The mice on the corners are just three buttons positioned to give the impression of Mickey.

I also made a matching money wallet.

The tables were named after Disney characters.

Creative Craft Challenge Card - For the Fella's

Good Morning to all.  For those of us in the UK did you have a great Bank Holiday?   The weather wasn't too bad for a change but now we have to wait until the end of August for the next one.....

Creative Craft Challenge - Just Checking

Good morning all.  Currently the sun is shining but I'm sure that will all change very soon.  Today we have a new challenge over at Creative Craft and the theme for this fortnight is "Just Checking" so it's time to get out those checks & ginghams.

For my card I have used:

Gorjuss stamp "White Rabbit"

DP's are by Pink Petticoat.

The watch background is a  Papermania Urban Stamp called Beautiful Time Pieces.

I decided to use paper piecing and I don't think I could have picked a more awkward image.  I had to get the scalpel to cut out the sections in the middle where the hands are, there's a bit of coat showing in-between the hand and the watch and then trying to go round all the bits of hair over the coat was a nightmare.

Wild Rose Studio Birthday Card

Did everyone have a great Monday?  It was my first day back at work today after a week off and I thought the day was going to drag but it whizzed by.

Just a quick post today to share a card I made for a friend who's birthday was last week  (I'm not late sending the card, she received it last week, I'm just delayed in blogging about it).

Creative Craft Challenge - Kenny K Red, White & Blue

Good afternoon to all.  I'm off work this week and at the moment the sun is out, finally the weather has turned a little warmer, only hope it lasts!  When I'm off work I lose track of the days but as far as I'm aware it's Tuesday so that means we have new challenge over at Creative Craft.

The theme for this fortnight is "Red, White and Blue" and my choice of image gave me chance to get a male themed card made.

I have used:

Hardly any embellishments on this card, didn't want to detract from the image and didn't think it really needed them.

Crafty Calendar Challenge - Sunshine and Showers

It's the first Saturday of the month so it's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar.  I'm a bit late posting today, I woke up today to find my boiler wasn't working so I have no hot water or heating, and it's won't be fixed until Monday so I'm hoping the weather forecasts are wrong and the temperatures aren't going to be dropping to below freezing for the next two days.

This months challenge is "Sunshine and Showers",  to take my mind off all the cold weather I went with "Sunshine" for my card.
