Bold Tidings Joy to the World Snowman Christmas Card

Good morning, I hope you are keeping safe and well.  Here in the UK today snow has arrived.  In my family they joke that I only have to look at ice and snow and I fall over and true to form I slipped over on the ice yesterday so today I'm nursing a grazed knee and a few aches and pains but luckily nothing major.

I have been doing bit of batch card making so I have four cards to share today with the same design only different colours

For these cards I have used:
  • Tim Holtz Bold Tidings #2 by Stampers Anonymous CMS419 stamped on black card and heat embossed in white.  I masked out the O from joy and replaced it with the snowman from the My Favorite Things Christmas Cuteness stamp set
  • The backgrounds are ink blended using Distress Oxides and then I have stamped snowflakes on it which were then heat embossed in silver.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.  I'll see you soon.

Stampers Anonymous Snow Globe Christmas Cards

Good morning to you and happy December.  I have a couple of Christmas cards to share today.  I love snow globe stamps and dies and todays card uses one of my favourites which is from a stamp set by Stampers Anonymous.

There are two cards using the two different snow globe designs from the stamp set in slightly different shades of blue and one of the backgrounds is using distress snowfall texture paste through a stencil and the other using distress sparkle texture paste....can you tell the difference?

For this card I have used:
  • Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous CMS472 Festive Print stamp set stamped with Distress Archival Ink and then over stamped with versamark ink, heat embossed with Ranger sticky embossing powder and then covered with rock candy glitter.
  • The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the same stamp set and heat embossed in white.
  • The backgrounds are Grey Distressed Woodgrain cardstock.  One of them has been stencilled with Distress Snowflake Texture Paste and the other with Distress Sparkle Texture Paste and then coloured with a combination of distress mica spays and distress inks.  One of the pastes holds the ink colour and the other you can lift the ink from it with a damp kitchen roll.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.  I'll be back tomorrow with a card for our new challenge over at Crafty Calendar

Cheerleader Ellie from Paper Nest Dolls Birthday Card

Good morning to you.  I hope you are safe and well.  Not a Halloween card.....Encouraged by the Halloween stencil I created in Cricut Design Space (card was posted a couple of weeks ago - Halloween ghost stencil) I set myself the task of creating a confetti/ticker tape stencil but this time not just a one stencil, I wanted it to be a layering stencil.  I ended up creating a four layer stencil and I don't think it turned out too badly.

For this card I have used:
  • A four layer confetti/ticker tape stencil created using Cricut Design Space,  Each layer was cut out of Mylar and then I ink blended through them onto white card.  I have used a different ink colour for each stencil layer and I think it worked out okay.
  • The digi stamp is Cheerleader Ellie from Paper Nest Dolls coloured with copics.
