Sizzix Santa Greetings and Stampers Anonymous Mr Frostie Christmas Tree Decorations

Good morning, I hope you are keeping safe and well.  Today I have woken up to a blanket of snow, luckily I work from home so I can look out of the window and think how nice it looks and not have to worry about travelling to work in it.

When I went to the Frankfurt Market in Birmingham I saw a Christmas tree ornament on one of the stalls and that inspired me to make these.

I have made two Christmas tree ornaments which are snowy windows and each of them have a character looking through.

For this Christmas tree ornament I have used the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Cling Mount Stamp: Mr Frostie (CMS499) coloured with copics and then fussy cut.

He was then layered in between the the window frames and snowy acetate

And for this Christmas Tree Decoration I have used Sizzix Santa Greetings Die Set by Tim Holtz layered in between the window frames.

The little sentiments on each of then are from the Lili of the Valley 60 Everything Christmas - Sentiment Labels which I printed using a laser printer and then foiled in gold

I then just added couple of gold pearls to each sentiment, a bow and some gold string.

Crafty Calendar November Challenge - Lawn Fawn "Here We Go A-Waddling" Christmas Card

Good morning, I hope you are safe and well.  It is only 54 days until Christmas so my festive card making is now in progress.

It is the first Saturday in the month so we have a new challenge over at Craft Calendar.
The theme this month is Anything Goes.

I have made a Christmas card for this months challenge and I have used:
  • Lawn Fawn "Here We Go A-Waddling" stamp set coloured with copics.
  • For the background I stamped the lamp post from the stamp set using black versafine, masked the bottom section of the card to create a snow covered ground and the sky was ink blended with Stormy Sky and Black Soot distress inks (A little lamp light was created with Mustard Seed distress ink).

We are sponsored for this challenge by:

Please pop over to Crafty Calendar and share your projects in this months Anything Goes challenge and also check out the gorgeous DT cards.

Stampers Anonymous Mr Frostie Christmas Card

Hello everyone I hope you are keeping safe and well.  The Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham has opened today so after visiting that this evening my Christmas countdown has officially started.

I have a Christmas card to share today.

For this card I have used:
Tim Holtz Cling Mount Stamp: Mr Frostie by Stampers Anonymous CMS499  (snowman and branch).
Tim Holtz Cling Mount Stamps: Snarky Cat Christmas by Stampers Anonymous CMS416 (birdie).
Tim Holtz Cling Mount Stamps: Christmas Cartoons by Stampers Anonymous CMS473 (sentiment).

I stamped the images with Black Soot archival ink and then masked them so that I could ink blend the background.
The background was ink blended with Distress Inks.
The images were then coloured with Karin Brushmarkers.
Heat embossed the sentiment in white onto black card.
And then finished off with some white splatters, a few gems and sparkle paste on the snowy ground.

See you soon x
