Crafty Calendar January Challenge - Something New

Good morning all.  Happy New Year. Have you made any new year resolutions for 2017?  One of mine it to get through all the craft kits and projects that I've got before taking on or buying any more so we'll see how long it takes before I break that one.

It's the first Saturday in January so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar and because it's the start of a new year our theme this month is
'Something New'

For this months theme I have made a new baby card and I have used:

Bugaboo Stamps 'Baby Cow Rattle' digital stamp
coloured with copics.
I did add a couple of extra cow markings to the image using one of the Copic Multiliner pens that I had for Christmas, because I just wanted a bit more black on the image.

For the background I have used the My Favorite Things Cow Background stamp
and Razzle Berry Hybrid ink pad.

The greeting is a pre printed one that I had in my stash.

A short bio about All Dressed Up
Hi I am Wendy Burns I live in Nottingham UK with my husband and two children who have been the inspiration behind the characters,  in particular my daughter who has kept me up-to-date with blogging and trends.  I work predominantly within the textile children’s wear market, fashion and interiors.
I trained as a textile designer and although my work is digital based, I love to retain that hand drawn /sewn feel which I hope comes across in my artwork.
Digital stamps is a new challenge for me and the opportunity to work with the All Dressed Up Team and has been very exciting, in particular the creative way my characters have been given individual personalities by the designers .
All Dressed Up is a newly launched blog with an enthusiastic team who are passionate about stamping.  The coordinators Anne Lise and Bettina along with an amazing design team are also known as The Dressy Girls.
We have a friendly Facebook page, regular blog posts, tutorials, challenges and freebies .The stamps can be purchased from the Etsy shop which is updated on a monthly basis.
We really are friendly bunch and would love to see your creations so please feel free to contact us and visit the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog.

Pop over to Crafty Calendar this month and share with us your
Halloween
projects and while you're there check out the gorgeous DT creations.

Crafty Calendar September Challenge - Back To School Card

Good afternoon to all.  Hope you are all well.  A bit later posting today as I've only just got home from work.

It's the first Saturday in September, Autumn is fast approaching and we have a new monthly challenge for you over at Crafty Calendar.

The theme for this month is
'Back To School'
so you can share your altered items, covered books, good luck cards, etc.
My niece is due to start her nursery school this month and is so excited.

For my card I have used:
Robyns Fetish Digital Stamp 'Katie Reading' coloured with copics.
The DP is from a paper pack I picked up at The Range called Deco Time.  The pack is 32 sheets 6x12 and it has lots of gorgeous glittered patterned papers.
The Dr Seuss quote stamp is from set by Kraftin Kimmie called Bookworm Trinkets.
I made the crayon border using crayon clipart images from 3am Teacher.  I tried to place the crayons in colour order to match the lines on the striped paper.  I think I nearly managed it....
