Crafty Calendar February Challenge - Add a heart Valentine Card

Good morning I hope you are well.  I'm a bit under the weather, I am suffering from a cold at the moment, Martyn was ill first and I thought I had dodged it but no it's arrived.

It's the first Saturday in February and we have a new challenge for you over at Crafty Calendar.

Love is in the air and the theme this week is

'ADD A HEART'

For my card I have used

Bob from Sheepski Designs coloured with copics,

It's a bit difficult to tell but the white background has embossed hearts on which was embossed using a heart stencil.

The pink & red background is ink blended using Distress Oxides in Kitsch Flamingo and Lumberjack Plaid.

I decided to add a heart aperture and made a shaker card filled with little heart embellishments from the heart sprinklets set by Buttons Galore.

Sizzix True Love Colorize Valentine's Card

 Good morning.  I have a card to share that I made for Martyn for Valentine's day so have had to wait until today to post it.

For this card I have used:

The box of chocolates is the Sizzix True Love Colorize die designed by Tim Holtz (666290).

Background is the Sizzix 3-d embossing folder - Confetti Hearts (663201),  Embossed on black kraft cardstock and then sanded so that the kraft foundation is visible.

I also had a go at making a box of handmade chocolates to go with the card.

Lawn Fawn Bugs and Kisses Valentine's Card

Good morning and Happy Valentine's day.  I have a quick love themed card to share today using stamps from My Favorite Things and Lawn Fawn. 

For the card I have used:

My Favorite Things Hearts Entwined stamp heat embossed in white for the background and then covered the paper with water and added some watercolour paint.  Then a few flicks of watercolour over the top.

The images and sentiment are from the Lawn Fawn Bugs and Kisses stamp set.  The ladybugs are stamped with versafine and then watercoloured and die cut.  The sentiment is heat embossed in white.

Love is in the Air Crafty Calendar Challenge Card

Good morning all.  Just a quick reminder that you still have time to enter our

I have a second DT card for this challenge and for this card I have used an image from one of our sponsors Robyns Fetish.

For this card I have used

Pussy Cat Luv from Robyns Fetish printed on kraft card and coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.

The DP is from the My Minds Eye Pretty Please paper pack.

The greeting is from an old Elzybells stamp set called Valentine Tags.

Crafty Calendar February Challenge - Love is in the Air

Good afternoon to all.  I'm posting a bit later than normal due to being at work this morning.  I'm glad to get back home out of the gale force winds and all the rain.....will it ever stop raining....

Well January has been and gone so we have a new challenge for February over at Crafty Calendar.  As Valentine's Day is fast approaching our theme for this month is

"Love is in the Air".

For my card I have used:

Bugaboo Stamps Dino Heart 2 image coloured with copics

The DP's are from the Craft Asylum Into the Woods 6 x 6 paper pack.

Now this was going to be a shaker card but I just could get it to look right it so I pulled it all apart and stared again.

Well that's Martyns Valentine card sorted now I just need to remind him to get me something...

Crafty Calendar February Challenge - Love is all Around Card

A good evening to everyone.   I hope you're all having a good weekend.   Can you believe It's the first Saturday in February already.  Because it's the month of love we have a romantic themed challenge for you over at Crafty Calendar.

Our theme for this month is "LOVE IS ALL AROUND" so love or romance needs to feature in your projects this month.

For my card I have used:

Hannah Lynn Ladybug Love coloured with copics.

DP's are from the Me to You With Love paper pack.

I've paper pieced the dress with the paper that I've used for the heart and I tried to keep all the colours within the same palette, so just reds and pinks for this card.
