Feel Better Soon card with Melonheadz Get Well Clip Art

Good morning all.  Happy Wednesday, I hope you are having a good one.  I have a card to share today that I made especially for my five year old niece who had a little accident last week when she fell over and broke her arm.  

I managed to find the perfect image for this card over at Melonheadz.

The image is Broken Arm Girl from the Get Well Clip Art Line Art Set which I coloured with Polychromos pencils.

My niece has an orange cast on her arm so the card started with the orange and pink chipboard frame and everything else was co-ordinated with this.

The Feel Better Soon sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn Chit Chat stamp set.

Creative Craft Challenge - It's Only Words Christmas Card

Good morning all.   Have you all been blown away with the storm?   Where I am in the Midlands we got off lightly with just a little bit rain but some places weren't so lucky.

Today we have a new challenge over at Creative Craft and for this fortnight the theme is "IT'S ONLY WORDS" so no pictures on your projects, only words.

Creative Craft Challenge - Numbers Challenge Christmas Card

Good afternoon everyone.  I hope you'll all enjoying the gorgeous weather that we're having at the moment.  It's Tuesday so that means a new challenge over at Creative Craft.  The theme for this fortnight is "NUMBERS" so ideal for those special birthday cards.

Now for my card.   I went into my little craft room, the sun was shining and the temperature was 25 degrees, I sat down at my desk to make my DT card and for some reason thought "I think I'll make a Christmas card!!".

So here it is, I have used

Melonheadz digi image "Rudolph" coloured with copics.

The DP's are a mixture of makes from my stash.

It might be slightly cheating but my only numbers on this card are on one of my papers, no others have been added....

Creative Craft Challenge - Sketch Challenge

Good morning....Today we have a new challenge over at Creative Craft and for this fortnight we have a sketch for you to follow.  It's been ages since I've followed a sketch, and I'd forgotten how I enjoyed them.  No pressure, not having to decide "shall I put this there?" and  "does that look right?"

For my card I have used:

MelonHeadz image "Flying Monkey" coloured with copics

DP's are from the "Milton & Co paper stack"

This image reminded me of two of my favourite films/shows - "The Wizard of Oz" & "Wicked" so that decided my colour scheme of green & black.
