Creative Craft Challenge - "One For The Kids" Spiderbear

Good morning to all.  We have a new challenge over at Creative Craft today and for this fortnight the theme is "One For The Kids"

For my card I have used

Dustin Pike digi stamp Spiderbear printed onto kraft card and coloured with Coloursoft & Koh-i-nor pencils.

DP's are various bits and pieces from my stash.

Only the second time that I've coloured onto kraft.  Not really that pleased with the result.....must try harder next time.

Creative Craft Challenge - Sketch Challenge

Good morning....Today we have a new challenge over at Creative Craft and for this fortnight we have a sketch for you to follow.  It's been ages since I've followed a sketch, and I'd forgotten how I enjoyed them.  No pressure, not having to decide "shall I put this there?" and  "does that look right?"

This image reminded me of two of my favourite films/shows - "The Wizard of Oz" & "Wicked" so that decided my colour scheme of green & black.

Creative Craft Challenge - Bring on the bling!

Morning all....For those of you in the UK, how are you liking the snow?  I don't mind it but only if I haven't got to go out and struggle to get to work. I only have to look at snow and I fall over so I'm hoping it doesn't hang around too long.

Today we have a new challenge over at Creative Craft and the theme for this fortnight is "Bling it up"  so lots of gems and sparkle (which I love).

My card is a departure from my usual style, not many layers or embellishments.

Creative Craft Challenge - New Beginnings

Morning all.  We have our first challenge for 2013 over at Creative Craft and the theme for this fortnight is New Beginnings.

I couldn't face another new baby card so decided on new home.

The papers were a magazine freebie that I discovered in my stash when I had a massive tidy up/reorganise of the craft room on Saturday.  I discovered loads of items that I had forgot about. About half way through the reorganise I was thinking this is never going to end.....why did I start this......but it was worth it in the end.

My first post of 2013 and a Happy New Year to all.  Have you made any resolutions? (and have you broken them yet?)

It's the first Saturday of the month so that means we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge and the theme for this month is "What's New?" so could be a new baby project, new home, new job, you get the idea....

I decided on a new baby card because it seems like everyone I know is having a baby at the moment.

I became an Auntie on the 4th December when my gorgeous little niece Holly arrived, Martyns nephew and partner had their little girl Megan on the 3rd December and my cousins daughter is expecting a little girl any day now.

Creative Craft Challenge - Non Traditional Christmas

Morning all.  We have a new challenge over at Creative Craft Challenge and this will be our last one for 2012.  We are having a little break for Christmas so this challenge is running for 3 weeks which will take us up to the 8th January.
