Crafty Calendar October Challenge - Witchy Legs Halloween Card

Good afternoon, I hope you are keeping safe and well.  October already and today I have my DT card to share for this months challenge over at Crafty Calendar.

Our monthly challenge starts today and the theme this month is

Halloween.

For my card I have gone for a DL layout so that I could fit in everything I wanted to include.

For my card I have used

• Witchy Legs from Oddball Art which I have coloured with copics and then fussy cut and inverted so that they are protruding out of the cauldron.
• The cauldron & bubbles are cut using my Cricut and is from Cricut Design Space.
• The background is made by blending distress oxides over the moon mask from Tim Holtz and then some light sprays of the amazing new distress mica stains for a little sparkle.
• The bubbles have been given a coating of clear wink of stella and then glossy accents.
• The sentiment is from the MFT Witch Way is the Candy? stamp set.
• The tape under the cauldron is Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Label Tape Halloween.

Crafty Calendar September Challenge - Sheepski Sno'worries Christmas Card

Good morning. I hope you are keeping safe and well.  I'm looking looking forward to a week off work and am heading off to East Yorkshire in a while for a little holiday.

Just enough time though to get this blog post done.

It is the first Saturday in the month so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar.

For.my DT card........I know it's only September but it's a Christmas card......

For my card I have used:

Sno'Worries digital stamp from Sheepski Designs.  He has a paper pieced hat,  has been coloured with copics and different shades of blue FC Polychromos pencils for the sky.

The snow effect was created by flicking Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain across the image.

Dinosaur Pop Up Card using You're Rawrsome from My Favorite Things

Good morning.  I hope you are well today.

Martyn's nephew turned 4 this month and is mad on dinosaurs and so I have a dino card to share.  I love a dino card.

For this one I made a pop up card with a little dino scene inside.

Hobby Art Wally the Walrus and Seagulls Birthday Card

Good morning.  Hope you are having a great day.  I'm on my last day of isolating as I was pinged by the NHS Covid app last Monday after attending an outdoor cinema screening.   This has put a dent in our plans because it is Martyn's birthday today so I'm not able to go out and celebrate, never mind we'll have to have a belated celebration.

The post today is the card that I made for his birthday.

I have used

Wilfred & Wally stamp set from Hobby Art Ltd coloured with copics.

Seaside Seagulls from My Favorite Things coloured with copics.

The waves are part of a svg file called Wave Borders from Miss Kate Cuttables cut using my cricut and edges with a little bit of white ink.

You might think it's a bit wierd to make my OH a card with a walrus on it but this is based on a memory from this year when we had a day trip to Tenby to see Wally the Walrus who has strayed off course from the Arctic and was spending a bit of time in the bay.

Wally the Walrus Birthday Card Using Sizzix Under the Sea 2

Morning all.  Today have a card to share that was inspired by a trip to Tenby last week.

Currently in Tenby a Walrus has set up residence in the bay which is quite a distance from somewhere in the Arctic where he should be living.  I think it is something like only the 10th record of Walrus ever recorded in the UK so when lockdown eased we headed to Tenby to try to catch a glimpse of Wally the walrus.  We did manage to see him, he spent all of the time in the water while we were there.

So this card features Wally the Walrus.

For my card I have used:

Walrus and Crab are from the Sizzix Under the Sea 2 Die Set - Colorize by Tim Holtz.

Hugs is cut from blue card using the Sizzix Alphanumeric Shadow Upper Thinlits Dies by Tim Holtz and covered with Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.

Distress Oxide blended background.

Stamped sentiment is made up from a mix of three stamps.

Crafty Calendar May Challenge Card using Bugaboo Stamps

Good morning.  Happy 1st of May to you.  I'm looking forward to a week off work and hopefully some okay weather to enjoy some days out subject to covid restrictions.  

As it is the first Saturday in the month we have a new challenge over Crafty Calendar and the theme for this month is

MASCULINE.

For my card I have used:

Charlie Birthday from Bugaboo Stamps coloured with copics.

The DP's are from the Echo Park My Dog paper pack.

The birthday sentiment I created on Cricut Design Space (I'm loving the new offset feature).   I cut the offset twice from white card and glued them together.  I then sliced the letters out of the offset to create a frame which I cut from white and glued on top.  I then cut the letters out of orange card and inset these into the frame layer and gave them a touch of wink of stella for a bit of sparkle..
