Crafty Calender March More Than One Fold Challenge - Lili of the Valley Easter Card

Afternoon to all.   I hope you are having had a good day.  It's the first Saturday in March so we have a new challenge for you over at  Crafty Calendar and the theme this month is

'MORE THAN ONE FOLD'

For my card I have used a wiper card layout from Lori Whitlock.   When you slide the front to the right a little pop up Easter basket appears.

The image is Spring Rabbit with Egg 2 from Lili of the Valley coloured with copics and polychromos pencils.

The DPs are digital papers from the Echo Park Easter paper pack available at Snap Click that I printed out.

The grass is a svg file from Etsy cut using my cricut,

Gnome Trio Christmas Card

Good morning.   I hope you are having a good day where ever you are.  It's a bit on the windy side here today but at least it's not raining for a change.

I feel I achieved a lot yesterday.  I think all of my Christmas cards are done, I just need to do a final check, I have all my Christmas presents they just need wrapping, I've never been so organised.

Today's post is another Christmas card.

For this card I have used the Gnome Bundle svg file from Lori Whitlock cut using the scan'n'cut.
The hats are cut from the First Edition Christmas Wishes paper pack.
The background DP is from the DoCrafts Forever Friends Kraft Notes paper pack.
The Merry sentiment is a two layer chipboard from Make It Crafty.  I coloured the bottom layer with a N5 copic pen and the top layer is covered with white embossing powder.
The Christmas sentiment is from the Neat & Tangled Very Merry Stamp set

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog and I'll be back tomorrow for day 10 x

Foiled Flamingo Frame using the We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill

Morning all.  Hope you are having a great day.

Just a quick post to share my first project using the We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill.  A foiled flamingo frame (try saying that really quickly!!)

For this project I used the Brother Scan n Cut, I haven't tried it with the Cricut yet.

I have used an file called 'Be A Flamingo' from the Lori Whitlock SVG shop   I imported the file into Brother CanvasWorkspace and changed it from cut to draw.  I added a fill onto just the flamingo and then transferred the file to my machine.

I used rose gold foil onto black card and the Foil Quill coped amazingly with the flamingo fill section, I was a bit worried it might not have done.

The frame is a very sparkly rose gold frame I picked up from The Range, a bargain I thought at only £3.99.

The foil quill is easy to use.  Just drop into the blade holder, plug into a power pack, let it heat up for five minutes and away you go.

Now to see what else I can find to foil,  just waiting for my foils of many colours to arrive then expect to see foiling on everything....

Thanks for taking the time to stop my my blog and I'll see you soon.

Happy Easter Card using Cottontail Cuties from Neat & Tangled

Good afternoon to all and a very happy Easter.
Have you got through all that chocolate yet?  I've resisted so far but may have to open an egg a bit later.

I have another Easter card to share today.  My first attempt of a slider card.  I did cheat a little by using an SVG file that I found on Lori Whitlock and my cricut.
I also made a little bunny gift bag with another SVG file...image and details below..

For my card I have used:
Cottontail Cuties stamp set from Neat & Tangled coloured with polychromos pencils and then cut with my Scan n Cut.
The card layout is an SVG file called Slider Card Easter Bunny from Lori Whitlock.  I just used the card layout sections & clouds from the SVG file and cut with my cricut,
I added the little girl image to the slider section  of the card and so when the tab is pulled she delivers an Easter carrot to the waiting bunny....

The Easter bunny box with goodies in for my niece was cut on my cricut using the Easter Bunny Tote SVG file from Lori Whitlock.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog an I'll see you soon x
