Crafty Calendar August Challenge - Anything Goes with A Day for Daisies

Good afternoon, I hope you are having a good day.  I've just got home from work so time to get my blog post done before I go and pack a suitcase ready for my trip to the Isles of Scilly in a few days, so here's hoping the good weather lasts.....

It's the first Saturday of the month so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar and the theme for August is:
'ANYTHING GOES'

For my card I have used:
Mouse Daisy from A Day For Daisies.  I coloured her first with copic markers.  I laid down a base colour using a copic maker and then I added shading with polychromos pencils.

I couldn't find coloured card that quite matched so I just tinted some with the same copic marker for the sentiment tag and card edges,

Crafty Calendar 'For A Child' March Challenge - A Day For Daisies Robot Card

Good afternoon.  Hope you are having a great day.  I'm just having a chillax after going out for a walk this morning and before heading out for a meal tonight so time to share my card for this months challenge over at Crafty Calendar.

Can you believe it's March already!!!   Our theme for this month is
'FOR A CHILD'
so I've made a card more suitable for a little boy.

For my card I have used:
Bot Two from A Day For Daisies coloured with Chameleon Pens (still practicing with these).
The circuit board backing paper was a download I found on etsy which I loved and felt was perfect for this robot card.
I cut the robot image with my scan n cut, added a frame, sentiment and star embellishments

Crafty Calendar Dots and Stripes August Challenge with A Day For Daisies

Good morning all.  I hope everyone is well today, we still have warm weather here in the UK which I love but I have found it a little to warm to be sitting in my craft room, so not getting much crafting done at the moment.

Can you believe that it's August already...today is the first Saturday and so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar.

The theme this month is
Dots and/or Stripes

For my card I went with both so I have a dot and stripe overload.

I have used:

Digital stamp 'Little Striped Dress' from 'A Day for Daisies' coloured with copics
The balloons are coated with Glossy Accents.
The DP's are from My Minds Eye Lime Twist 'Fly a Kite' paper pack
The cloud and ground background was created using the My Favorite Things stencils Mini Cloud Edges and Drifts and Hills with Distress Oxides in Twisted Citroen and Broken China.
Had to also add a few sequins.

Crafty Calendar April Challenge - Buttons or Bows with A Day for Daisies

Good morning all.  Hope you are well and having good day.  I was a bit under the weather all over Easter but I'm just starting to feel a little better so hopefully all the germs are leaving me now.

It's the first Saturday in April so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar.
Our theme for this month is:
BUTTONS and/or BOWS.

For my card I have used
Ducks in a Row digital stamp from A Day For Daisies.
I printed the image and sentiment using my laser printer and then added gold Decofoil by running the image and a sheet of foil through my laminator so that the gold foil adheres to the laser ink.
I coloured the image with polychromos pencils.
I mounted the image on card and added a chipboard flower and a button centre.

I was having so much trouble trying to get a photo that showed that the image was foiled but eventually this one shows that it is actually gold.

Crafty Calendar Mythical Creatures January Challenge

Good morning all.  First post of 2018.  A day later than it was supposed to be but yesterday after going to work and then spending the afternoon packing all the Christmas decorations away into the loft I just didn't get chance.

We have a new monthly challenge over at Crafty Calendar and this month the theme is
'MYTHICAL CREATURES'
so we'd like to see lots of fairies, goblins, dragons and the like on this months projects.

For my card I have used

'Sweet Dragon' digital stamp from A Day for Daisies coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.  I then cut the image out using my Brother Scan N Cut (new toy...loving it...)
The DP's are from the Tonic Studios Simply Blooms paper pack.
The sentiment is from the Woodware Wizardry stamp set

Mother days card for Crafty Calendar March Challenge

Good afternoon to everyone.  I hope that you're all well on the rainy Saturday afternoon. Today I got up and decided to sort my wardrobe out, do you ever wish you hadn't started doing a job because it then got more involved and took more time than anticipated.  At least it's finished now.

Today is the first Saturday in March so we have a new monthly challenge for you over at Crafty Calendar.  Here in the UK tomorrow is Mother's Day so our theme for this month is
MUM's DAY or SPECIAL FEMALE.

For this challenge I have tried a different style of card.....

I have printed the image 'A Special Flower' from A Day for Daisies onto textured card then coloured with Faber-Castell polychromos.
I cut the textured card to a 13.8cm square with my image in the bottom corner then printed the greeting 'Best Mom' from Digistamp Boutique.
I then stamped a few flowers and coloured them, doodled a wiggly border, added some perfect pearls onto the flowers and the butterfly is from the Butterfly Wishes III stamp set from Clearly Besotted.

It was going to be a one layer card but I couldn't resist adding the butterfly and then layering onto pink card before added it to the white 6" card blank.
