DigiStamp Boutique Easter Egg Bunny Easter Card

Good morning all.  I don't know what the weather is like where you are but here in the West Midlands it has been snowing!!!  

My card today is another Easter card, so although it still feels like winter I know spring is around the corner.

For todays card I have used:

Easter Egg Bunny from DigiStamp Boutique coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos

The eggs have all been covered with clear Wink of Stella so are nice and sparkly (although you can't tell on the photos)

The pink gingham paper is from Tiny Checks Brights paper pack from My Favorite Things.

The Hoppy Easter sentiment  stamped with versamark and embossed in white is from

the Simon Says Stamp Easter Greetings stamp set SSS101731

The paper flower border is from a paper frills pack by Doodlebug Design.

Have then just added pearls for the flower centres and a couple of sequins.

DigiStamp Boutique Easter Louie Easter Card

Good morning.  I hope everyone is having a good day.  Just a quick post today to share my first Easter card of the year.   I got a bit carried away with the colouring so he does look like his fur could do with a haircut.

For this card I have used:

DigiStamp Boutique 'Easter Louie' coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.

The blue gingham check paper is from the Me to You Easter paper pack and the pink Easter paper is from the Papermania Easter Themes paper pack.

My Favorite Things Flamazing Birthday Card

Good morning all.   I hope you are having a fabulous day, I now have heating because my boiler is working again,  we are waiting for a engineer to fit a replacement part for it but its working for now....

Just a quick make to share with you today.  I love flamingos so when I  saw this stamp set over at My Favorite Things I had to have it.  

When I was making this card I looked around my craft room at the flamingo lamp, pencils, ruler, clipboard, pencil pots, pens, notepads and realised maybe I have a slight flamingo obsession.....

Flamazing stamp set from My Favorite Things stamped using MFT Hybrid ink

The background is Flamingo Print Cling Background Stamp by The Ton Stamps stamped with versamark ink onto pink card.

Crafty Calendar March Challenge - Add a Tag using Oddball Art Valentine Giraffe

Good afternoon, I hope you are not to affected by the weather we are currently having.   I'm currently without heating or hot water because my boiler has decided to stop working,  hopefully the engineer will be here soon and able to fix it....

Looking at the weather you would think it is January but it is March and today is the first Saturday so we have a new monthly challenge for you over at Crafty Calendar.

For my card I have used:

Valentine Giraffe from Oddball Art coloured with copics.

The background was made using MFT Giraffe Backgound stamp.   I inked it up with 'Worn Lipstick' and 'Fossilised Amber' Distress Oxides and then I spritzed it with water before stamping

The sentiment is a magazine freebie.

DigiStamp Boutique Baby Animals Birthday Cards

Hi everyone.  Hope you are having a good week.  We've made to Wednesday...I had Monday off work to recover from all of that overtime at the weekend but still feeling a little bit tired..luckily I'm having a couple of days away this weekend, courtesy of St Valentine so hopefully will get some time to relax.

Just a couple of cards today using two of the images from the DigiStamp Boutique Baby Animals digital stamp set.  I made these cards a while ago for my niece Holly and Martyn's niece Megan who are the same age and were even born one day after each other but never got round to featuring them on the blog,

My Favourite Things Space Explorer Pop Up Box Card

Good morning.  I hope you are having a good day.

I'm busy working all this weekend, Saturday and Sunday!.....a lot of overtime this month, after doing a full week at work as well I think I might need a few days off in March to recover....

My last few posts including todays have been created using products from My Favorite Things.   Todays post is a space inspired pop up card.

For this card I have used

 The images are from the 'Space Explorer' and 'Out of this World' stamp sets by My Favorite Things coloured with copics and mounted onto the pop up card using acetate strips.

The background is blended distress oxides spritzed with water.

The card base is a cutting file from My Scrap Chick

My Favorite Things Have a Yappy Birthday Card

Good morning all.  Hope you are having a good day.  Todays post is a birthday card I made for my OH using a number of products from My Favorite Things.

His surname is Yapp hence the Yappy Birthday sentiment.  I'm sure he didn't mind about me making fun of his name.....

For my card I have used:

The doggies and sentiment are from the 'Four-Legged Friends' stamp set by My Favorite Things.

The background was stamped using Steel Blue Hybrid ink and the 'Paw Print' background stamp both from My Favorite Things.

My Favorite Things You're Rawr-some Dinosaur Birthday Card

Good morning.   I hope you are well.

Today I have a card to share that I have made for Martyn's little nephew who will be three this week and don't most three year olds love dinosaurs....

For my card I have used:

Dinosaurs grass and trees are from the 'You're Rawr-some' stamp set by My Favorite Things coloured with copics.  I did use my blender to try and give them a bit of texture.

The cloud background was made using the Cloud stencil from My Favorite Things and Broken China Distress Oxide.

The hills were cut using the My Favorite Things Die-namics Scenic Safari dies.

The sentiment is from the 'Bitty Bears' stamp set by My Favorite Things

The speech bubble is cut using one of the My Favorite Things Die-namics Essential Speech Bubble Dies

February Crafty Calendar Challenge Card - Two or More Layers with Dr Digi

 Good afternoon, I hope you are well today. 

I've had a little bit of a stressful January, three weeks ago my assistant at Brownies announced she was leaving at the end of January and being unable to find a replacement at short notice I had no choice but to close the unit.  It was a bit upsetting having to close but it takes a lot of time and commitment to run it and I think it is time for a change.  After volunteering for 27 years there was a lot of sorting out to be done and a major declutter has taken place.

But we are now in February, a new month and time for a new challenge over at

Crafty Calendar.

Crafty Calendar Mythical Creatures January Challenge

Good morning all.  First post of 2018.  A day later than it was supposed to be but yesterday after going to work and then spending the afternoon packing all the Christmas decorations away into the loft I just didn't get chance.

We have a new monthly challenge over at Crafty Calendar and this month the theme is

'MYTHICAL CREATURES'

so we'd like to see lots of fairies, goblins, dragons and the like on this months projects.
